Come and celebrate Christmas with us! Experience the meaning and joy of the season at South Lake Church.

Our world often feels hurried, heavy, and uncertain. The season leading up to Christmas (called “Advent”) reminds us that Jesus brings hope, peace, joy, and love into even the darkest places. Join us each Sunday to slow down, look up, and let Jesus—the Light of the World—renew our hearts and lives this Christmas.

Advent prepares us to celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ, God who became human. This year we are focused on how Jesus shines light into the darkness of our world, and how He invites us to reflect His light in our own lives. Each Sunday will focus on a different aspect:
11/30 - The Light of Hope
12/7 - The Light of Peace
12/14 - The Light of Joy
12/21 - The Light of Love
12/24 - Christ: The Light of the World

We want you here for a beautiful Christmas Eve candlelight service. We’ll sing carols, read Scripture, hear a short message about Jesus, and take communion. Bring your family and friends as we reflect on the miracle of Christ's birth and light candles to symbolize the light of Jesus shining in the darkness.
Service begins at 5:00 pm
We recommend arriving between 10:00 - 10:15 am if you plan to check kids into our Children’s Church or if you would like to grab a free beverage from The Well.
You will still be warmly welcomed if you arrive at 10:30am :)
The special candlelight and communion service will begin at 5:00pm on 12/24.
Come exactly as you are - and we really mean that! Some people wear jeans and t-shirts, others wear dress shirts. We care more about you than your wardrobe.
🎄On Christmas Eve, people are often more festive... some in Christmas sweaters and others in Christmas Pajamas!
We have a large parking lot immediately in front of the building. There are also reserved spots if you are new with us, so you will always have an open spot to park!
Pastor Amanda (Children’s Pastor) has put together a resource for you to do with your family in the weeks leading up to Christmas. We pray it brings you closer together and closer to God!
