South Lake Children’s Worship
A high-energy, engaging time of worship just for children! With games, music, teaching, and small group “Huddles” divided by grade level.
South Lake Children explore the same themes as the adult service—presented in fun, age-appropriate ways.
What We Offer
On Sunday mornings, our children’s ministry welcomes:
Nursery/Toddlers
9:00 am & 10:30 am
Our Nursery and Toddler rooms are fun, safe, and engaging spaces where your little ones can play and explore. They’ll enjoy age-appropriate worship, crafts, and story time with trained and loving volunteers.
Preschool & Kindergarten
9:00 a.m. Junior Discipleship
Children walk through the foundational stories in the Bible in an age-appropriate way, with games, crafts, and snacks.
10:30 a.m. Children’s Worship
Preschoolers/Kindergarten join South Lake Children’s Worship for fun, high-energy music, then head back to their own classroom for a Bible lesson, games, crafts, and lots of love!
Elementary
9:00 a.m. Children’s Discipleship
Children explore God’s Word in ways they can understand and apply to their daily lives.
10:30 a.m. Children’s Worship
Includes music and teaching that uses science experiments and object lessons to help children learn about Jesus in a hands-on way. They explore the same big ideas as the adults, but in a way that's easy to understand and fun to experience.

Pastor Amanda
leads a group of passionate and loving volunteers who make South Lake a safe and fun environment for children!
What ages?
Nursery: Birth – 18 months (or until walking)
Toddler: 18 months – 2 years
Preschool/Kindergarten: 3 years (fully potty-trained) – Kindergarten
Elementary: 1st Grade – 5th Grade
What Do I Need to Bring?
Nursery: Diaper bag and any food or snacks your baby may need
Toddler: Diaper bag, change of clothes, and bottles if needed
Preschool – 5th Grade: Just come ready for a great time!
What Not to Bring:
Preschool – 5th Grade: Please do not bring outside food or toys.
What safety measures are in place?
All volunteers are thoroughly trained and background-checked. We also have a fun, friendly, and well-trained security team to ensure a safe environment for every child.
Family Devotional
Each week, Pastor Amanda teaches a kid-friendly version of the main sermon so families can learn the same truths together. These devotions help children and parents talk more about their faith as they grow closer to God.
